One of our intentions with Chill Out is to obviously get as many people to not only try Cold Plunging but to stick with it.
Outfit North in Paihia had their first first Solstice Showdown team fitness event on Saturday of Matariki weekend and we gifted a Snowflake model for the event. Set up was easy after a couple rags were placed under the feet on the not so flat asphalt and temperature set. The .6hp chiller chilled it down beautifully to 3.7 degree when I switched it off Friday arvo 2pm and the insulation did it’s job with a .9 degree rise upon turning it back on at 7:30am Saturday.
The sweating started about 8:30am and wrapped up before 11am with a handful or hearty souls chilling out afterwards.
I don’t venture into Public gyms due to having everything I need at home but I found Outfit North a pretty impressive set up!
