“I’m going to insulate the heck out of these tubs”. This was about the second thing that came to mind when the idea of Chill Out was born. I have access to a large amount of quality H80 high density foam thanks to material stock from the other part of my business, OXS Skimboards.
It was very quickly decided that this was to be my material of choice due to it’s structure, insulation potential and obvious availability. It’s the backbone of the tubs and what makes these Made in New Zealand by hand items a bit unique and well, very good. Take a listen in the video below
The stuff isn’t cheap but it is worth every penny if you’re after a durable, strong, light, long lasting and cold tub! There is also the ability to build tubs to custom spec in size and wall thickness!
